Have you seen the series Pluribus? — Walked into Fayetteville, NC downtown this morning and it was empty — that specific kind of quiet that doesn’t feel peaceful, it feels wrong. Like I’d wandered onto the wrong timeline. Total Pluribus moment: am I the last one who didn’t get the memo?

Have you ever experienced something like this?
I’m from here by the way, just never experienced Fayetteville this empty before.

Have you seen an airplane dancing up the sky? That’s what exactly the performance of Michael Goulian in his Extra 330SC during the 100th Annual Cherry Festival Air Show in Traverse City, Michigan, and honestly it was hard to look away!

The performance was more than just a technical display, it was theater in the air! It pulled off every loop, climb, and dive like gravity wasn’t even in the room.

What an incredible show! 🫡

MY FIRST AIR SHOW— Traverse City, Michigan Air Show during the 100th annual National Cherry Festival Kick Off

That’s right! I’ve never been to an airshow before! When my husband said “When you hear the sound of an F/A-18 super hornet, it's already past you.” And indeed, he was right! 😂

The first photo in this set was already taken during the second time it “snuck” behind us. I did not expect to get this picture! And no, I completely missed the first one. It was TOO fast and I couldn’t even find it my view finder! Lol

This was a great show in Traverse City, Michigan— The Cherry Capital of the World!

As a beginner in the photography world, I am so happy with these photos! As always, my Canon USA EOS R8 + 100-400mm f/5.6-8, delivers! ❤️

Special thanks to my father-in-law who got us VIP tickets! ❤️

📍TRAVERSE CITY, Michigan— One of my favorite cities in the US! ❤️

Been contemplating for a couple of days now of doing this again because I miss doing 10-second videos of the photos I capture daily.

SANDSTONE FALLS, Hinton, WV—- Highly recommended!!!

Sandstone Falls is the largest waterfall in the New River Gorge National Park & Preserve, spanning 1,500 feet across the New River. Why I love this falls? IT👏 IS 👏ACCESSIBLE! They have a nice 0.25 mile boardwalk crossing to island observation decks.

We wanted to see the falls up close so we walked down the boardwalk to the right just before the lookout. There is a not-so-clear path going to a rocky creek (slide 5–be careful, this can be very slippery here!). Once you walk past that, you should be able to see a narrow path going to the falls. 🙂

One of the best falls I have seen so far! Highly recommended!

Sandstone Falls is the largest waterfall on the New River, spanning 1,500 feet wide and dropping 10 to 25 feet. Located within the New River Gorge National Park & Preserve near Hinton, West Virginia, it features easily accessible boardwalks, scenic overlooks, and unique river flatrock vegetation.

If you want to see the falls up close like this, you would need to walk past the boardwalk on the right side before actual lookout. Rocks can be slippery so be careful. 🙂
