Of all the moments I photographed on their wedding day, this one might be my favorite.

At first glance, it's a simple photo of two grooms cutting their wedding cake.

But then I noticed her.

Quietly sitting in the background.
Watching.
Smiling.
Not looking at the cake.
Looking at them.

One of my favorite things about weddings is that they're never just about two people. They're about parents, grandparents, family history, and generations of love that helped bring everyone to this moment.

No one was posing.
No one was looking at the camera.

Just a moment that would have been easy to miss.

The best wedding photographs aren't always the ones that are planned.

There is just something magical about summer evenings at the beach. 🌊☀️

Bare feet in the sand. Wind-blown hair. Salty air. The sun slowly sinking below the horizon while your family laughs, plays, and simply enjoys being together.

These are the moments that deserve to be remembered.

Proof that you don’t have to leave home to create timeless family portraits. 🤍

This beautiful session was photographed entirely in the comfort of their own home, with a simple setup that still gave us that soft, clean, studio-inspired feel.

One of my favorite things about in-home newborn sessions is how relaxed they are for families. No rushing out the door with a newborn, no extra stress, and your little ones (and even your pup 🐾) get to stay in a space that feels familiar and comfortable.

And the best part? Your photos can still feel polished, elevated, and timeless while preserving this season exactly as it truly is.

I loved getting to celebrate this sweet family and document these first memories together. ✨

A quiet morning by the water. Sandy toes, and the sweetest season of waiting. 🤍

I’m still not over this maternity session. The soft colors, the peaceful lake views, the way their little ones explored the shoreline … it all felt so dreamy. It was the perfect location to slow down and find connection before this sweet family of 4 becomes a family of 5.

Also … tell me this wouldn’t make the PERFECT mini session location!! 👀
