When I held a fundraiser for the Noelle Strong Foundation, I was connected with Sarah Michelle and her family. We had an amazing session together where I met their three awesome boys- one of them being Dominick.
Dominick (Dominicks Fight) is a 7-year-old really cool kiddo from Smithfield who is battling stage IV neuroblastoma cancer for the 2nd time- and he is 3 years into his battle with no solid answers for his family as to what steps to take next with his care.
From monthly trips to NYC and now PA from their home in NC... finding the correct doctors to help get him the best care... Dad and 2 other little boys at home... it's been a wild ride for Dominick and his family.
Together with my friends at The Cub House Play Cafe, we dreamed up a fundraiser to support Dominick... BOO-ey's Not-So-Spooky Halloween Bash! I'll be there doing Halloween Minis, and we have so many other fun activities planned too.
I hope to see a lot of familiar faces there (perfect for families with younger kiddos to come out and participate in the Halloween fun, or for anyone to come out and grab a coffee & check out the raffle donated by our amazing community members!)
100% of proceeds from ticket sales and our raffle will go directly to Dominick and his family!🎗 See you October 18th!
Boo-ey’s Not-So-Spooky Halloween Fundraiser 🐻👻
The Cub House Play Cafe invites you to join us on Saturday, October 18th for a special Halloween event with two available times: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
This family-friendly fundraiser will include:
👻Meet and greet with your favorite blue dog
🍬Crafts, games, and open play
🍭Costume contest and raffles
👻 Spooky Animal Encounters — with Slithering Celebrations
🍬Exciting prizes donated by local businesses and community partners
🍭Halloween-themed mini sessions provided by Jessie Peloso Photography

$35 per child ( includes 1 adult)
Additional adults: $9.99
Registration is required in advance as space is limited.

We are coming together to support a brave 7-year-old from Smithfield, NC, in his fight against Stage IV neuroblastoma.
Dominick has been battling this rare cancer for nearly four years while also living with autism and adrenal insufficiency. This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of ongoing medical expenses, while providing comfort, stability, and resources for Dominick and his family as they continue navigating his complex care journey.
