Here are a few things you should be thinking about before going into your senior year of high school:

1. College Applications: Now is the time to start applying to the college(s) you want to attend. The majority of deadlines are in the winter, so thinking about this in the summer is one less thing to do.

2. Grants: Apply for any and all grants you can think of. Millions of grant/scholarship money go unclaimed each year.

3. Fill out that FASFA which will give you access to federal student aid

4. Volunteer: There are so many valuable reasons to volunteer within your local community. It helps teach passion, work ethic, and civic duty.

5. And don't forget to schedule your senior photos. My favorite time for senior portraits are August-October. I am semi-retired so I will only be taking on 6-8 sessions all season

Class of 2025 SENIOR MOMS: Now that it is the summer before your upcoming senior’s graduating year, things are going to get crazy busy... yes, even more so than it already is now, believe it or not. All the things are about to happen in a matter months:

+ summer vacations
+ back to school shopping
+ 4th of July festivities
+ summer wind down
+ summer parties
+ beach days
+ senior orientation
+ 1st day of senior year
+ homecoming festivities

And somewhere in there – with all the other to-dos, are your senior’s senior pics. But first, you have to schedule them. Don’t wait until 2025 to schedule your senior’s session when it’s so late in the season. You’ll only feel incredibly rushed and stressed out and nobody wants to experience that for their senior

Summer senior session fashion do’s and don’ts
I know... I know. It’s summer and you wanna lay out in the sun, wear all the tiny outfits, and
summer trends! I get it! But if you have an upcoming summer senior session, there’s a few
things to think about when it comes to summer senior session fashion! Here’s our list of summer fashion do’s and don’ts for your senior session!

Do: show up with evenly tanned skin
Don’t: show up with tan lines everywhere

Do: wear shorts, skirts, and dresses that you can move and pose in
Don’t: wear pieces with hems that are too short & don’t maintain your modesty

Do: opt for thinner & breathable summer fabrics like linen, sheer materials, etc
Don’t: wear see-through fabrics without correct n**e undergarments

Do: take care of your skin in the weeks leading to your session
Don’t: show up with sun burned, blistered, or peeling skin

Do: wear summer colors that accentuate your skin tone
Don’t: wear trendy summer colors if they wash you out & make you look drab
