I always spend a little extra time on 10/3 thankful for my roots and my mentor, my dad Bob Walden. He use to tell me, come to me with anything you want, except an excuse 🙂. His skills were sharp and standards high. Happy Heavenly birthday dad.

There are moments in this profession that are difficult to put into words.

Years ago, we created the black-and-white portrait you see here—a father holding his newborn daughter. Today, that same little girl sits beside her brothers and sister in a new family portrait. It seems like the blink of an eye…

When families continue to trust us through the years, “thank you” never seems quite enough. I can think of nothing more meaningful, and it challenges us to create something that will also stand the test of time and tell the story of the next chapter. The Hopper family has allowed us to do just that, and Beverly and I are deeply grateful.

These portraits become markers of time and reminders of what’s important. To all of you who continue to trust us to capture these chapters in your lives—we appreciate you more than you know.
