Let’s say you start everyday with $86,400. You HAVE to spend every penny or you lose it forever, but the next day you get another $86,400.

If someone stole $10, would you worry much about it? Knowing you’ve got $86,390 more to spend and tomorrow you get another?

The same works with time. Each day you get 86,400 seconds. Don’t let someone’s negative 10 seconds…or 20…or 30 take away from the rest of your day.

Find the right people to spend your time on and you’ll always be at peace.

Imagery of women and the female form are some of the most sought after imagery and creations in history. They have adorned castles, keeps, stood in museums, and even had songs written about them. However, the second a woman decides she wants to show her form she’s considered a “ho.”

Free yourself from archaic and antiquated overly conservative thoughts. Appreciate art for what it is and let women be strong.

The most beautiful people I’ve ever met have no idea how gorgeous they are. It’s a phenomena that I still can’t wrap my head around. I mean, they may have a little bit of an idea that they’re pretty, but most times it’s not even a thought in their head.

I am thankful they’re bold enough, brave enough, and daring enough to get in front of my camera though.

No one follows you as closely as the people who don’t like you and want you to fail.

Plot twist: you can’t play someone else’s game…and they can’t play yours. So you do you and become obsessed with the journey. Recognition will find you. Money will find you. Love will find you. Whatever it is you want will find you. Enjoy the process and don’t be bullied into living a life that isn’t yours.

It’s funny how every single shoot I usually do everyone is so worried about everything being “perfect.” Hair must be in the perfect way. Perfect posing. Perfect faces. Perfect body structure. Just…perfect. Social media builds on this shaky foundation so well. We all want to be perfect.

Perfect = fake. I’m so tired of fake.

I want motion in hair and messy. I want hair everywhere. I want emotions in faces. I want moments. And I don’t want it to be photoshopped all to hell.

So I started this project. I selected a model, picked a white wall, and put a camera and light in front of them. Then I selected my favorite shots and put a color to them. No skin or hair retouching. Just color. Done.

It ain’t perfect…but I love it.

I’m looking for models to do more soon.

Saying goodbye to summer while chillin in Louisville with Tara.

If you’re not having fun on set we can’t share the set. This goes for photographers and models alike. If you’re dry and boring and off putting we just can’t be friends. Just can’t. Shoots shouldn’t be stuffy and boring and cold. You MUST laugh and have fun.

Time is relative. Sit beside your crush and an hour feels like a second. Sit beside someone you detest and a second feels like an hour.

Photography: work with someone self centered and full of themselves and an hour seems like an eternity. Work with someone open to life, experiences, accepting of their faults, and willing to share something gorgeous with the world and a full day of shooting feels like a minute.

This is not fair.
