Photography is capturing a moment in a form that one can keep forever. To me, photography is more than a job; it is a creative passion. Photography is a way for me to glorify God, and I will forever do photography to bring Him glory. Photography is a way for me to connect to others. I am a very personable person, and most time when I photograph a session or wedding, I walk away with new friends. I

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

What a sweet season this is seeing all the Christmas magic through the eyes of Emery! I pray I never take for granted how blessed we are. 💕

What a breathtaking ceremony this was at . Not only was the setting stunning, but the genuineness of the words exchanged were so incredible and moving. This couple’s story is one that I’m so excited to share more of! What an honor it was to be a part of documenting this special weekend.

The most lovely September wedding with Taylor and Rece.

It was so difficult to choose images to share from their wedding because every moment of their day was just perfect. So much joy was felt on this day. The love between Taylor and Rece is so apparent and I could feel just how loved they are by their friends and family who attended the wedding.

One of my favorite parts of their wedding was getting to see their sweet son watch his parents get married. Watching him hug his mommy’s leg and blowing kisses while vows were being read was simply the best.

So much more to share from this joyous day!

This is 35. 🎉
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today is my birthday! I’m officially half way through my 30s which is CRAZY. I’m not sure how the last 5 years have went by in a blink, but it did.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It truly feels like I just entered my 30s yesterday. I had so many emotions entering my 30’s. I was pregnant with Emery, moving (again) away from everyone I knew and I felt like I would feel a sense of new adulthood leaving my 20s.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now here we are, I’m officially in my mid thirties. I’ve been trying to reflect on the first half of this decade and everything that’s happened in 5 years. We moved, had a child, moved 2 more times, bought a house, traveled a ton, lost loved ones, made new friends, started a garden, watched Emery grow so much (how is she almost 5?!) and I started a proper skin care routine 🤣

As I get older, I am continually reminded how precious every day is. Throughout the next year of life, I’m working to be present when I’m with my daughter, while simultaneously giving myself grace. I want to prioritize time with friends and family and making memories with them. I want to be on social media less and in books or board games more. I plan to continue to move my body and get stronger. I want to make calls to loved ones more and tell them I love them. I hope to worry less about what people think and release the anxiety that comes with wanting to please everyone. And, my forever goal is to write more (and hopefully finally publish at least one of my books).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, welcome 35!! Here’s to embracing my mid thirties and living every day intentionally!

Oh, Scotland. You have my heart. This is somewhere I have wanted to visit for many years, so when we decided to go to Europe for our 10th wedding anniversary, it didn’t take much time to decide on the location.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We flew into Edinburgh and spent the day exploring. Every minute was perfect. The next day we drove to Glencoe, in the Scottish highlands. The landscapes took my breath away. We hiked, had gourmet hot chocolate, saw filming locations for Harry Potter and visited a castle or two (or 10 haha).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Isle of Skye was next on our list and this place is incredible. It’s hard to describe just how beautiful Skye was, but I wish we had more time there. We mainly hiked here and watched two glorious sunsets while eating at the isles oldest pub. This is also where I got to see and pet a Scottish Coo 🥹
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We ended our trip visiting Inverness, trying to get a glimpse of the Loch Ness Monster, exploring the cute town of Pitlochry and staying in a castle that felt like I was in a museum!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This trip was one of the most perfect trips I’ve been on. A week wasn’t long enough and I’m already trying to figure out when I can go back (or if anyone wants to get married there and bring me along I’m all for that 😉). I have so much to share from this trip, but for now here are a few of my favorite images ❤️

One thing I love about weddings is seeing how couple’s wedding details complement their wedding day design and personalities. To some, this may just be an invitation suite, but it’s the first piece guests see that not only welcomes them to the wedding, but also gives them the first glimpse into the wedding design and is a part of the couples wedding story.

I absolutely loved the details from this spring Kentucky wedding. I used one of the couples reception linens as the backdrop for the invitation and I feel like it helped tie in their design with their invitation so well! Another aspect I love is the sketch of the entrance into the garden of their venue. Such a pretty detail!

07.18.15. 10 years married.

It’s doesn’t seem possible it’s been 10 years since we got married on what ended up being the hottest day of 2015. I vividly remembers sweat running down Tyler’s face during our ceremony and the heat is a topic that is commonly brought up whenever my wedding is talked about among those who attended.

I told Tyler today how I don’t feel old enough to be have been married for 10 years. So much has happened in the last decade. We have traveled a ton, moved more times than I wanted (including driving across the country and back when we lived in California). Tyler graduated and started his job in anesthesia. We experienced multiple losses and finally got our spirit filled Emery. We have been faced with challenges, blessed beyond measure, seen parts of the world I could have never imagined seeing. I’m so grateful to have a spouse with a heart for adventure.

While today may be our anniversary, we celebrated back in May when we went to Scotland. It was a near perfect trip that I still need to share more about, but for today, I wanted to share a few images that captured for us while we were in the breathtaking Glencoe in the highlands of Scotland. We hiked, braved the cold and saw an amazing sunset. Such a special time captured and Loraine was so lovely to work with!

In my diary at 16, I wrote I wanted to marry a musician with a fohawk (🤣)and 6 years later I heard a whisper from God when I met Tyler saying “this is who you’ll marry.” 10 years has came and gone so quickly. Here’s to the next decade!

I’m so thrilled to be able to offer drone photography. There is just something special about the view point using one allows me to provide and it gives such a fun perspective to sessions and weddings.

There arial view at during the reception was so incredible and I love the partial clear top tent that allows you to have a peek inside at the reception dancing!

Moments from a very special wedding last month.

I’ve know Graci’s family for as long as I can remember and was introduced to Brandon’s family when one of my dearest friends started dating his brother over 10 years ago. When I heard that these two were getting married I was so excited because I couldn’t think of two more amazing people and families combining. Getting to document their wedding was such a great joy for me!

I LOVE how gives secret garden inspiration! 😍 Such a special venue that not only provides a stunning space for events, but their culinary team is literally a chef’s kiss!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tori and Sam’s wedding was one I’ll never forget! Aside from the beauty of the day, they were the most incredible couple with the kindest and most fun friends and family. So many special moments captured on their day.

To all of the couples planning a wedding, soak in every moment. Your day will go by so fast and allow yourself, no matter what happens to enjoy yourself and cherish the moments with your family and friends ❤️
