I was so fortunate to visit Vermont in September. In addition to many hours in the car singing Noah Kahan I got to visit a local heirloom apple orchard in Brattleboro, Vermont called Scott Farm Market and Orchard. We got to spend a lovely afternoon amongst the trees and Vermont landscape and then took a bunch of apples back the studio for some creative play time. I am a Lexington, Kentucky based food and farm photographer- blending visual storytelling with beautiful product photography.

When looking for a studio space I really wanted something with character and history. Brick walls, colored plaster, tall ceilings, fireplaces, wood floors, tons of natural light. I absolutely adore the building my studio space is in! It originated as a hospital, was a coffee/peanut roaster and a furniture warehouse before it became the mixed use space it is today! If you visit me you’ll smell bourbon from the distillery downstairs and incense from the sound healer on the sound floor. You’ll find a vintage clothing store, financial advisor and several creative businesses like a film composer, videographer, and myself! It’s an incredible space to create in. I am based in Lexington, KY and currently booking product work, commercial work, branding, businesses, headshots, portraits and more!

River and Rye is a beautiful restaurant and inn sitting next to the Ball Mountain Brook in Jamaica, Vermont. Emma and Andrew blend their skills from the food and beverage industry and rural community and economic developement to bring this wonderful place to life. I can attest to the food being as delicious as it looks! It was so much fun to photograph many of their dishes right in their restaurant. I can attest to the food being as delicious as it looks! When I close my eyes and imagine a bakery- it's pretty close to Sweet Lucy's Bakeshop. Located in Bernardston, Massachusetts this sweet bake shop is serving up daily confections, baked goods and coffee. It was a true treat to spend a morning capturing this charming bakery and soaking up the incredible smells. Seriously Sabrina Photography is a food and farm photographer based in Lexington, Kentucky. Kylah and Jeremy spent their time dating adventuring across the Northeast and the Eastern US to meet each other’s family and friends. One their wedding day all those loved ones gathered under the clear top tent beneath the rain and trees to dance the night away at the Heartland of Versailles in Versailles, Kentucky.

These two met in the heat of summer in Washington D.C. so it was only fitting that Kentucky give them a humid (but beautiful!) wedding day at the Heartland of Versailles in Versailles, Kentucky. Between Kylah's dress and the garden it was totally giving editorial wedding.

Danica described her wedding as an elegant and timeless garden party and the Rose Hill Inn in Versailles, Kentucky absolutely delivered on that. Right at ceremony time- a massive downpour sent all the guests running for cover but you'd never know it from the photos. Their ceremony was sweet and intimate as sprinkles fell from the sky and the tree branches.

Woke up this morning to a chill in the air home in Kentucky. Bring on the cozyyyyyy!

This past weekend I spent in Vermont adding to my food photography on location skillset with Photography backdrops & education. Part of the workshop took us to several businesses and restaurants- including Sweet Lucy’s Bakeshop in Bernardston, MA where these apple galettes had me dreaming of the fall weather just around the corner.
