Today is Veterinary Appreciation Day, and I want to take a moment to thank all of the incredible veterinarians, veterinary technicians, assistants, receptionists, and support staff who dedicate their lives to caring for our pets.
I know many of my clients work in the veterinary field, and I truly cannot thank you enough for everything you do.
Veterinary medicine is not an easy profession. You are expected to know and understand countless diseases, medications, procedures, and behaviors across multiple species, all while helping families navigate some of the most emotional moments of pet ownership. The equipment, training, and resources required to provide quality care are incredibly expensive, yet so many of you continue to show up every day because you genuinely care about animals and the people who love them.
Please remember to be kind to your veterinary teams, not just today, but every day. The people caring for your pets are doing the best they can with the tools, knowledge, and resources available to them. If they could save every animal, they absolutely would.
To everyone in the veterinary industry: thank you for the long hours, the difficult conversations, the compassion, the tears, the victories, and the unwavering dedication you show our animals. Your work matters, and you are appreciated more than words can express💛
