Guys. I haven't posted on this account since December 4! 😳 what am I doing? Honestly- I got a bit overwhelmed. Running two business IG accounts is exhausting lol keeping up with both of them and their analytics and the algorithm... I don't know how others do it so well. But also- I was discouraged... I don't have many photography sessions lately that aren't bo***ir so I felt like I wasn't posting anything current and felt like a fraud posting old sessions.

But 2020 is coming to an end and my sister has been posting on her Facebook a recap of the year and naming all the good things instead of focusing on the overwhelming but obvious negative happenings of the year. So I'll kind of do the same. My sweet friend modeled for me for a fun session I was dreaming up in my head. It was simple. And I love this session so much. Why not continue to share the sessions I love...even if they are older photos?

This was one of my first sessions before I started booking actual lifestyle/senior photos and it gave me the confidence boost I needed to officially call myself a " 𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒓". This sessions was different than the ones I was doing or felt needed to fit in. It was simple and beautiful and I am beyond thankful for it. 🥰 @ Grand Rapids, Michigan

I didn't have a license in high school so I don't know how these seniors feel about their cars. But I can kind of catch a glimpse with every request I get from a current senior for a photo with their car. I guess I can imagine though that it's a huge deal. I was still emotional to my first car. Harry. I'll forever miss him. 😭 anyone else remember their emotional connection to their first car? Did you name it? Do you still name your vehicles? @ Grand Rapids, Michigan

Trying to kick my butt into gear this morning. After working an open to close yesterday with the restaurant being as busy as it was and wearing three hats today I woke up exhausted. My alarms went off but my eyes were too heavy. I've spent all morning just waiting. Waiting for my eyes to lift. Waiting for the motivation to move. Waiting for a reason to be a decent self sufficient human being today. But in other news...isn't the cutest??
