A little business update from me 🤍

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and praying about what I want my business to look like moving forward, and I truly feel like God has been gently reminding me that I don’t have to do everything. It’s okay to slow down, make a little more room, and trust that the right opportunities will still find me.

I’m still very much here. I still want to photograph your families, your weddings, your babies, your milestones, and all of the little moments in between. 🤍 I’m just going to be a little more intentional about how much I take on so I can be fully present for my clients and my family.

And honestly, this decision wouldn’t even be possible without YOU guys.

The referrals. 🥹 You guys are seriously amazing. So many of my clients come from someone telling a friend, and I will never take that for granted. And my yearly clients?! I genuinely love watching your families grow and getting to be a little part of your lives year after year. Those relationships are one of my favorite parts of this job.

I still want to say yes to as many of you as I can. I still want to watch your babies grow, photograph your families year after year, celebrate your engagements and weddings, and capture all of the seasons of life you invite me into. I’m just realizing that in order to do that well and be the wife and mom I want to be, I need a little more breathing room.

So, I’ll still be taking clients, but with fewer openings, I’ll likely be booking further in advance. There will also be some changes to pricing as I make that shift. If you know you want photos with me, reach out a little earlier than you normally would! 🤍

And if you’re thinking about getting on my 2027 wedding books… don’t wait! I’m already getting inquiries, and with taking on fewer weddings, those dates are going to go much quicker.

I’m learning that sometimes making room is exactly what God is asking us to do, and I’m really excited to see what He has planned for this next chapter.

I’m still here. I still want to photograph all the things. 🤍 I’m just making a little more room to enjoy the life I’m photographing, too. 🥹

There’s something about chasing sunsets on a wedding day. 🤍✨
As much as I LOVE watching you hit the dance floor with your wedding party, there’s something so special about stepping away for those sunset photos.
Everything slows down.
The nerves, the timeline, the craziness of the day… just fades for a few minutes. It becomes playful, romantic, quiet, and completely you. You get to breathe, soak it all in, laugh together, run around, sneak in a few kisses, and actually take in the fact that you’re married. 🥹
And honestly? Those golden little moments might just be some of my favorites to photograph.
So yes, I’ll always be the photographer encouraging you to get back to the party… but I’ll also always be the one chasing that sunset with you. 🌅🤍

This family. 🥹🤍

They are truly the sweetest, and the love you can feel between them, for their family, and for God is just something so special. I’ve had the honor of photographing them for the past few years, and getting to watch their family grow has been one of my favorite things.

But this session felt extra special.

We were at the farm where she grew up and spent so much of her childhood, and now she gets to bring her own kids here and make memories with them. There was just something about watching her family enjoy this place together that really got me. 🥹

And honestly, this session brought so much life to me. Watching them interact, laugh, play, love on their kids and just genuinely enjoy being together reminded me all over again why I love what I do.

Because the best photos aren’t always the ones where everyone is looking at the camera. Sometimes they’re the messy ones. The laughing ones. The ones where your kids are climbing all over you, you’re chasing them around, or you’re just soaking them in exactly as they are right now.

Those are the moments you’ll remember.

The little things you probably don’t even realize you’ll miss someday.

And I feel so lucky that I get to freeze those moments for families. 🤍

So thankful for this family, for their trust in me year after year, and for getting to watch their story continue to grow. 🥹✨

Some clients become so much more than clients... they become part of your story. 🤍

This sweet family has been with me since the beginning of my business, and I honestly can’t put into words how much that means to me. Every time a family chooses to come back, it reminds me that I’m not just taking photos—I’m preserving little pieces of their lives, year after year. There truly isn’t a greater compliment.

Beach sessions will always have a special place in my heart. There’s just something about the shoreline, the sound of the waves, and the golden light that brings such a sense of peace. (Well... to everyone except Jared. 😂)

The best part? Kids don’t have to sit still or smile on command. They get to run barefoot, splash in the water, dig in the sand, chase waves, and simply be themselves. That’s where the magic happens. Those genuine laughs, messy hugs, and in-between moments are the ones you’ll treasure most years from now.

To this family—and to every family that has trusted me, supported my little business, and come back time and time again—thank you. You have no idea how much it means to me. Getting to watch your families grow while doing something I truly love is a gift I’ll never take for granted. 🤍

I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on something that feels really me… and I’m so excited to finally share it 🤍

My heart (and my business) is being re-centered around 1 Samuel 16:7 —“People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

This verse has always stuck with me, but lately it’s been shaping the way I see everything… especially photography.

It’s so easy to get caught up in perfect poses, perfect lighting, perfect everything. But the moments that matter most? They’re the in-between. The belly laughs, the teary-eyed vows, the way your person looks at you when you’re not even paying attention.

That’s the heart.

And don’t worry — I’m still here to guide you, fix your hair, and make sure you have those beautiful, frame-worthy portraits too. I love being a mix of gently posed and candid — giving you the best of both worlds so nothing feels stiff, but everything still looks intentional and timeless.

Because at the end of the day, I don’t just want your photos to look good… I want them to feel like you.

Not just what your day looked like — but what it felt like. The love, the faith, the connection, the little glimpses of God woven throughout it all.

This rebrand isn’t about changing everything… it’s about going deeper. Slowing down. Seeing people the way He does — and telling your story from that place.

There’s just something about a church wedding 🥹🤍

It’s not just a ceremony—it feels deeper than that. The quiet before the doors open, the prayers, the way you can feel God in the room… it gets me every single time.

I love when couples make their faith a big part of their day. It’s such a sweet reminder that their story didn’t just start here—God’s been in every part of it. The waiting, the timing, all of it.

And somehow, it always comes together exactly how it’s supposed to.

If you’re still waiting for your day, don’t rush it. What God has for you will come together in His timing… and it’ll be so worth it 🤍

Like I know it’s “just a detail,” but it’s the detail. The one you’ll look down at all day, the one you prayed over, the one that quietly holds so much meaning.

And I’ll be over here moving it around, chasing good light, probably getting way too excited about it 😅 because those little shots? They matter.

They’re the kind of photos that bring you right back—not just to how it looked, but how it felt. And honestly… that’s where you can see God’s hand in it all 🤍

I’m convinced the beach just fixes everything 🌊😂

Like… the second I hear waves and feel that wind?? instant peace.

And THEN you add in an elopement?!
Yeah, I’m in my happy place.

No stress.
No crazy timelines.
Just two people, a whole lot of love, and probably me tearing up behind the camera 🥲

That’s what I love most about days like this… it’s not about putting on a big show. It’s about what’s real. What’s meaningful. What God is doing in their story.
