In-home sessions will forever have my heart. The slow mornings, tiny hands reaching for mama, the way your kids melt into the comfort of home like they own the world there… because they do.

No pressure, no stiff poses. Just your real life in the place your story is unfolding right now✨

I used to say “neutrals are your best friend” — not anymore😜

Art was never meant to live inside rules someone else made.

Lately, I’ve been leaning into more color, new locations, grain, blur, bold color — the kind of images that make you feel something before you even understand why. And honestly? It’s terrifying sometimes. Because taking risks as an artist means accepting that not everyone will get it.

But I think that’s the whole point.

Growth doesn’t happen when you stay where it’s comfortable. It happens when you trust your eye, your gut, your weird little creative instincts at 6am editing under a blanket with hot tea beside you☺️

The older I get, the less I want perfect photos.
I want honest ones.
Colorful ones.
Human ones.

Art should feel alive.
And I think I’m finally letting mine breathe🍃

Styling for your photos isn’t about doing the most… it’s about 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.

It shows up in the subtle details—the undone button, the way your dress moves, the colors that quietly tell your story.

If you’re planning a session, here are 3 things I always tell my people👇

— Start with 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘤𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦. That one dress, that cozy sweater, your kid’s favorite little outfit—build everything else around it.

— Think in tones, not matches creams, browns, soft blues, muted greens… the earthy, the better.

— Don’t skip the tiny details. Bare feet vs. shoes. Simple jewelry. Rolled sleeves + layers. Texture. Movement.

At the end of it all, you want your photos to feel like you stepped right into your own story—comfortable, real, and 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧… not like you were trying on a version that doesn’t quite fit.

Just know… the little things don’t go unnoticed over here😜

Some moments deserve to move—
to be seen, heard, felt in 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.

This gender reveal wasn’t just about pink or blue… it was about the pause before, the emotion during, and the story they’ll tell forever✨

this part that gets me every time🥹

they didn’t just trust me with their memories…
they trusted me with 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵.

+ what to wear
+ the location
+ how it would all come together
+ the little details that most people don’t even realize matter until they see it through my lens

and it’s never about making things “perfect.”
it’s about creating a space where everything feels easy… cohesive… like it already 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 to them.

allowing them to show up, fully themselves
and let me take care of the rest🥹

that kind of trust? it’s not lost on me.
it’s quiet and powerful and honestly…𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨.

The chance to get to hold their story and help shape how it’s told and i’m just over here feeling really grateful that people let me do that💛

They don’t remember a time before the camera.

They know a field isn’t just a field… it’s a location.
They’ve mastered the art of looking candid — on command and they know that package on the porch is probably clothes😜

Being a 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳’𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘥 is basically growing up half wild, half directed and probably being barefoot in more places than most adults would allow.

Not gonna lie..

Showing up here has felt 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 lately. Spring has me literally hanging on for dear life (you should see my calendar)🫠 But I miss this… the creating, the feeling, the way this space lets me breathe a little deeper. Not every season is going to feel easy but that doesn’t mean you’re a failure.

So if you’ve been feeling this too, (reminder) 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯. You’re just a human trying to create something honest in a world that rewards noise.

Keep showing up anyway.
The right people will feel it. Always💛

More play.
More exploring.
More genuine 𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.

Since becoming a mama my daughters taught me something important:

Kids don’t need to be posed.
They need to be 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥.

And that invitation sounds like this —

For littles who need to move👇
- “Race mom to that spot and don’t let her win.”

- “Can you show me your fastest twirl?”

For connection👇
- “Sing your favorite ice cream flavor in mom’s ear.”

- “Squeeze dad like you’re trying to turn him into a pancake.”

For softer moments👇
- “Can you hold hands and walk like you’re going on an adventure?”

- “Close your eyes and feel the sunshine.”

The 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵 is in giving direction that feels like a game — not a command.

When kids are playing, they forget you’re there.
When parents are responding instead of performing, they relax.

So go ahead and leave the “cheese” at home for your next session. 𝘞𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘧𝘧.

No distractions.
No perfect posing.
Proof that the most ordinary moments are the ones we 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵.

I’ll never stop loving studio sessions🤍

No busy backgrounds, no one walking by, no fighting the wind… just your crew being them and me quietly 𝘤𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 behind the camera.

It’s 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 about the space, more about how it’s 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯.

This cozy, snowy nursery?
Cinematic because it’s 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭.
Because love lives here.
Because light showed up and as an artist—we knew what to do with it.

This is what makes in-home images feel like a film instead of a photo👇

𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, not the room.
Find where the light naturally spills and build your story there—even if it’s just one corner.

Layer 𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, not props.
Hands on cheeks. Foreheads touching. The pause between moments—that’s your drama.

Shoot like you’re 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺, not taking a photo. Wide for context, close for feeling, then step back and let life unfold.

Every home has a movie in it.
