Your 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 matters

Not just the big milestones. The ordinary stuff, too.

For me, taking photos has very little to do with smiling at a camera and everything to do with paying attention.

The longer I do this, the more I realize I’m not just documenting people. I’m documenting history. 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺.

lighting up the night, one flash at a time✨

photog tip: don’t pack up when the sun goes down. one off-camera flash can turn a dark beach into something that feels straight out of a movie.

👉exposing for the ambient light first, then adding flash, keeps the night feeling like night instead of washing it out.

My sessions are the furthest thing from a portrait session and 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵.

Think of it more like an excuse to fall in love with your ordinary life.

Just space to slow down, laugh a little louder, hold your babies a little tighter, and remember what this season actually feels like.

I care far less about everyone looking at the camera than I do about what unfolds when no one is.

The in-between moments.
