I went to school for photography learning a wide range of skills including commercial product photography. These past 17 years doing it full time as a pro on my own have allowed me to easily accomplish most requests I have been asked. My son Archer. This is his first beach photo session. I did these with my wife’s cell phone. I had a camera that took 3.5 floppy disks when I started photography 20 years ago. I never imagined a cell phone would give me the ability to leave my big SLR home and get comparable quality. It means I can enjoy moments like family beach day without worrying if someone’s going to sn**ch my stuff or kick sand in my camera bag. I can be me and not “the photographer” with the big camera.
