Wilmington Works Like a Dog 🐾
This week’s feature looks a little different. Meet the team behind : Melissa, Charity, Morgan, and of course, Gracie, Ru, Porter, and Mulligan.
What started as a real estate business has grown into something deeply tied to community, rescue work, and connection. Melissa shared the story of losing her three dogs, Harpo, Abby, and Izzy, to blue-green algae toxicity in 2019, and how Gracie and Ru helped her find her footing again during one of the hardest times in her life. That experience eventually led to Harpo’s Legacy Sponsorship Program, where every home sold helps save a shelter dog in Harpo’s memory.
Beyond real estate, the team hosts workshops, community events, and local partnerships throughout the year, while also giving back to causes across Wilmington. Last year alone, they donated more than $20,000 to dog rescues, senior citizens, and families facing food insecurity.
