Hey everyone!

I’ve been a little MIA this past week because we’ve been working our butts off on the Santa set, AND I’ve been busy creating TWO brand-new Christmas sets of my own!

I’ve also been trying to keep up with editing and everything else in between, including a back injury (from building sets, lol).

Anyway, just popping in to let y’all know that I’ll FINALLY be announcing my Christmas Mini Sessions TOMORROW, October 14th!

So stay tuned! I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on!

(And for the record, I made this little graphic in Canva in about five minutes, and I’ll probably delete it once the actual promotional photos are ready. 😂)

Sometimes a newborn session looks a little different — and I absolutely loved this one.

Instead of focusing on traditional newborn portraits, Mom chose to make this session all about the sweetest new relationship: big sister and her brand-new baby brother.

And let me tell you… she was SO proud. She absolutely loved holding and snuggling him, and these two gave me the sweetest images together.

I have so many favorites from this session that I’ll definitely have to share more another day! ❤

One of the best parts of doing this for so many years is getting to watch families grow!

I’ve been photographing this family for over 10 years — since their youngest daughter was just a little girl — and now there are two new faces in the family!

I loved getting to catch up with everyone during this session, and we could not have asked for a prettier evening. The fall foliage was absolutely GORGEOUS and gave us the most beautiful backdrop. ❤

This sweet family reached out months in advance to plan their beach session while they were visiting Wilmington/Carolina Beach from out of state, and I’m so glad they did!

We had such a fun evening together. Their girls were absolutely adorable, their outfits and color palette photographed beautifully, and even their four-legged family member understood the assignment and was SO well behaved lol.

I love when families make photos part of their vacation plans — especially when we get an evening like this one at the beach.

And yes… it may officially be fall, but here in Wilmington we still have plenty of beautiful beach-session weather ahead and the crowds are gone! If family photos have been on your list for this fall, now is a great time to get something on the calendar.

These two.

I had so much fun wandering around the farm with Sheila and her fiancé for their engagement session. They were so sweet together, and between the gorgeous evening light, the fields and all the little spots we found along the way, there were WAY too many favorites from this one not to share a few more.

I may not photograph weddings, but I absolutely loved getting to capture this little piece of their story before the big day.

Congratulations again, you two! ❤️

Flashback Friday!

I don’t think I ever shared this one, but every time I come across it, it makes me smile. ❤️ There’s just something about all of those happy faces piled together that I love so much and they are the sweetest family ever too!

Fall family-photo season is officially here, so this felt like the perfect one to pull from the archives today.
