Before you scroll through these images.. I know it may not be the trendy thing these days, but I don’t just share the “best of the best” from a wedding gallery. I’ve always loved giving a true highlight of the entire day. The big moments, the quiet moments, and everything in between. It’s the same approach I take with my preview galleries, too. Just a little glimpse into how I roll as your wedding photographer.

Some wedding days just flow exactly the way they’re meant to.

Allison and Drew envisioned a day that felt relaxed, intentional, and true to them. No rushing from one thing to the next. No pressure to perform. Just being present with each other and surrounded by the people they love most.

Set in the heart of downtown Wilmington at Station No. 2, their wedding day unfolded on one of those perfect spring afternoons that felt almost too good to be real. The weather was beautiful, the timeline was easygoing, and every part of the day seemed to settle naturally into place.

My role was simply to observe, document, and preserve it as it happened. The quiet moments, the laughter, the hugs, the happy tears, and all of the little in-between pieces that make a wedding day feel like your wedding day.

While I lean heavily into documentary storytelling, one thing you’ll almost always find me encouraging is a large group photo. Years from now, there’s something incredibly special about looking back and seeing every person who showed up to celebrate your marriage gathered together in a single frame. Those photographs only become more meaningful with time.

A few traditional portraits, a whole lot of real moments, and a day that felt effortless from beginning to end.

Honestly, it was pretty perfect.

I will never get tired of photographing surprise proposals. Ever.

The secret emails. The planning. The nervous energy. The pretending we’re “just casually taking photos nearby.” 😂

Then suddenly… one of the biggest moments of someone’s life unfolds right in front of me.

The shaking hands.
The shocked face.
The instant happy tears.
The way they look at each other afterward knowing life just changed.

It’s honestly one of the sweetest things to witness from start to finish, and I feel ridiculously honored every single time someone trusts me to document it all.
