I’m definitely a type B photographer but I’m not negligent.

I’ve seen this trend and wanted to share my opinions on it. I think sometimes people think being type B can mean being careless but to me it means adaptable.

It means adjusting when timelines shift without making you feel stressed about it.
It means being a calm presence instead of adding pressure to the room.
It means knowing when to gently guide and when to step back so the moments can unfold naturally.

Some of my favorite images happen in the in-between moments, the ones you don’t plan for. The deep breath before walking down the aisle, your mom fixing your dress, your friends laughing while nobody realizes I’m watching.

I care deeply about the experience my couples have, and sometimes that looks less like perfection and more like presence.

Organized enough to keep your day flowing and keep your images safe.
Relaxed enough to let it actually feel like your wedding.

5 things I try to do every Monday to set my week up for success

1. Get as many chores done as possible-laundry, order groceries, cleaning, dishes, etc.
2. Prep my food. I try to prep my snacks, bread and a breakfast or lunch
3. Batch my reels/posts for the week. I try to do this while I’m exporting or uploading photos (while my computer is doing its work, I do work on my phone)
4. Submit album/photo book design forms for my galleries with and my team with pass platinum is able to create them and send the proofs to my clients to review and order if they’d like
5. Batch my editing for the week by culling and running my galleries through .ai

The amount of time and energy this simple system saves me makes me never want to miss a Monday. I’m not perfect at it every time but this makes my week go by so much smoother and efficient!
