🌼 Colorado Elopement Guide 🌼
As we all know, CO is a very popular place for elopements. I mean, I get it, how can you NOT want to elope there?!
So today I’m going to be bringing you allllll the deets you need to know when eloping in Colorado!

Certain seasons will help you decide on certain locations, for example, if you choose to elope in a warmer season you might have more access to higher and unique locations. In winter months, it can make those long treks up a mountain a little more difficult.

Once you’ve pinpointed your ideal season, now you can choose your ideal location! Trust me, there’s quite a few to choose from. My first suggestion to any couples looking to elope in CO, is to pause and think about what their perfect day looks like. What does the scenery look like on that perfect day? Is it mountaintops in the distance, fields of wildflowers, or miles of sand dunes?
You can always reach out to your friendly elopement photographer for suggestions! 😉

Next question to ask yourselves is, sunset or sunrise?
Eloping at sunrise means you can escape the crowd! The trails pick up much more by mid day and afternoon, having an elopement in the early morning guarantees it will be completely private for the both of you! Cons, well, that you have to wake up early and that’s tragic if you aren’t a morning person. 😅

Make sure to fill out your elopement permit through the online application BEFORE you go to the clerk and recorders office! They’ll want you to have it all filled out online before going any further. You can pick your marriage license up during the week and use it immediately upon receiving it. Hooray!! 🎉
