Who is in need of a ski tune? Many of you know that I have been running a bike shop from my home for the past three years. Early this winter I purchased a ski tuning machine and have been tuning and doing ski repair of damaged skis. So hard to hear the news about shutting down. For over two decades this mag has been such a huge part of my life. Shaped my career, introduced friends, challenged my creativity and took me places I never thought I would visit. They were the one! Above all other magazines. I remember the nervousness and excitement each month to see if I had something published, maybe a cover, or just being inspired by the other awesome photographers work. It shaped the ski resorts like and . It gave athletes sponsors and just stoke for everyone who read it. I remember seeing a picture of Rob Holmes lawdarting gloryhole at Alta when I very first was trying to get into shooting and submitting. I couldn’t believe the shot took. It was pure magic! I wanted that. I wanted the glory of getting a cover. I worked my butt off till I had one, then three. Man. What a time to be a part of skiing history. I am so grateful to have played a part in a movement that brought so much stoke in a time when that medium was the only way to see it.

I absolutely live the colors and the light of the desert! In the evenings the cool blues and high lots are a photographers dream. and I built this sender years back. But some shots I don’t get tired of looking at.

Upper little cottonwood trails are not the easiest to get to, but they sure are worth getting away from the crowds and experiencing a good backcountry ride. shredding above twin lakes.
