Switching up the scenery on the feed today with some mountain fall colors instead of the red rock desert I’ve been running back and forth to all fall!
I can’t believe this day was already 2 weeks ago! It was a cold one, especially for them coming from Hawaii! But my gosh, the fall colors were everything! 😍
N&E actually met and fell in love here in Utah, which is why they chose to come to Utah for their elopement. They got ready and had a first look at their hotel in Park City, and had the sweetest ceremony with just Natasha’s dad and his partner in attendance as witnesses among the trees in the mountains.
Afterwards, we adventured around the mountains chasing more of those fall colors, and ended the night by popping some champagne under the super harvest full moon 🌕 It was really funny because I kept thinking that the moon hadn’t risen above the mountains yet because I couldn’t see it. But then we got around a ridge and there she was in all of her glory and she was massive!
We were curious if there was any significance for getting married not only under a full moon, but the harvest moon as well. And we found out that getting married under the full harvest moon can be a powerful and symbolic choice, as this phase represents balance and the culmination of the harvest season, signifying abundance and a flourishing future for the relationship. And getting married under a full moon in general symbolizes completeness, balance, and emotional fulfillment!
I get way too excited about celestial events, especially when I get to take photos of them. I was actually recently told by someone that they believe I have a special relationship with the moon. And I would agree! So if you ever want photos with the moon or under the stars, I’m definitely your girl 🌙✨
