Studio 14 by Gabrielle Photography

Studio 14 by Gabrielle Photography Take the photo - tell the story. Can I take your picture? Since I can remember, I’ve loved to be on adventures. I never want to forget the people I meet.

In 2005 I landed a consulting job working with the National Park Service. This amazing job enabled me to see the beautiful parks and meet lovely people across the US. Thus began a journey that fueled my passion for adventure and photography. In 2016 I began this new adventure – Gabrielle in Denver and finally Studio 14.

I tell my stories because I never want to forget the places I go. And I alwa

ys want to capture each experience along the way. I take the pictures to remember. And to share these stories with you. I do this because often the stories are important. I do this because the stories are inspirational, sad, funny. I do this because I want to share the beauty we sometimes miss in our day to day surroundings. I do this because I want to help you see the beauty of the places I’ve been, the people I know and the beauty of YOU.

Tucson — Chapter 2: Ranch, Reimagined

Chapter 1 was the wranglers, the horses, the dust, the leather, and the quiet rhythm of ranch life.

Chapter 2 was something completely different — and somehow, still completely connected.

Fashion. On a luxury ranch. In Tucson.

And honestly? I was in heaven.

If you know me, you know how much I love ranch life. But you also know how much I love creating portraits that feel elevated, editorial, and a little unexpected. So to be standing in The Barn at the ranch while photographing metallic gowns, sculptural headpieces, dramatic gloves, and all of this gorgeous fashion energy — it felt like two parts of me collided in the best possible way.

The ranch girl in me was happy.

The portrait photographer in me was on fire.

We moved indoors for these because the afternoon sun was no joke — but that shift created its own kind of magic. The light became moodier. The shadows got deeper. The styling felt even more dramatic. Suddenly it wasn’t just “fashion on a ranch” — it became this beautiful mix of grit, glamour, texture, and imagination.

That’s what I loved most about this chapter.

One minute I was photographing wranglers and horses in their everyday world. The next, I was creating images that felt like they belonged in a magazine — all in the same place, on the same ranch.

It reminded me why I love photography so much.

And this chapter felt like pure creative play.

A little ranch.
A little couture.
A little sweat.
A whole lot of magic.

A man and his dog.

Sadie has been Don’s sidekick for 14 years. As long as she is near him, she is completely happy and content — and vice versa. There is a quiet kind of love here, the kind built over thousands of ordinary days together. And that is exactly what makes this portrait so special.

A legacy portrait, delivered with so much love.

This week, we had the honor of delivering and hanging a truly magical piece of wall art for Paul and Cheryl — a portrait that feels like so much more than a photograph.

It is a celebration of their life together. Their love. Their family. Their story.

And this month, Cheryl is celebrating her 80th birthday, which made this moment even more meaningful. There was something so special about seeing their portrait take its place in their home — not tucked away on a phone or hidden in a drawer, but displayed beautifully as a daily reminder of the life they have built together.

These are the pieces that become part of a family’s legacy. The ones children and grandchildren will pause to admire. The ones that hold memories, laughter, history, and love in a single frame.

Paul and Cheryl, thank you for trusting us with something so personal and precious. It was an absolute joy to create and install this for you.

Happy 80th birthday, Cheryl. Your story is beautiful, and it deserves to be seen.

This is Emily — a true reflection of the kind of woman we love sharing the Women in Focus experience with.

Wisdom doesn’t always come with age. More often, it comes through experience — through showing up, working hard, living fully, and knowing exactly who you are. And that’s exactly what Emily id doing!

Emily brought such a beautiful mix of youthfulness, professionalism, grace, and grit to her shoot. She laughed, soaked in the pampering of the hair and makeup chair, let the fan catch her gorgeous hair, posed with poise and grace, and allowed herself to fully embrace her feminine side.

And afterward?

She was off to do one of her favorite things — working on her antique car, getting a little grime on those hands, and spending time with her favorite person.

That’s what I love most: celebrating women in all their layers. Soft and strong. Polished and hands-on. Feminine and fearless.

Emily, you were such a joy to photograph, and I am so honored to get to know you! Thanks!!!

A strong brand portrait does more than show what someone looks like.

It gives people a sense of who they’re about to meet.

For this men’s branding session, we kept the styling intentional: clean black wardrobe, minimal accessories, relaxed posture, and a mix of studio and lifestyle settings. Nothing overly staged. Nothing forced. Just confident, polished, and real.

That’s what personal branding should feel like.

Not a costume.
Not a performance.
Not a version of you that only exists for the camera.

Just you — presented with clarity, confidence, and a little edge.

Because the right images don’t just fill space on a website or social profile.

They help tell the story before you ever say a word.
