holy cow! it had been a HOT minute since i said hello to all of you beautiful people! we have some things to catch up on! 👋🏽
so hello, i am shelby, a family & couples photographer here in my home state of colorful colorado — serving montrose, ridgway, ouray, silverton, & telluride! i am here to capture all of your life’s memories with my warm, playful, authentic style. 🏔️
i have been in love with the art of photography since an early age…fun fact, i won first place at the county fair when i was 8 years old with a landscape picture i took on my little point and shoot camera. my passion truly took off in 2016, as a sophomore in high school, when i was the photographer editor for my school’s yearbook! i have gone down a handful of career paths since then but always find myself coming back to photography! i finally took the leap to make this my full time job back in the summer of 2023! 📸
when not out capturing your memories, you can find me living my life’s greatest adventure — being a mom to my six month old son, kane. motherhood is truly the most me i have ever felt! 🤱🏽
joining me on this life long ride is my husband, brandon. we have been together for almost 8 years & celebrated our one year wedding anniversary back in april. 🤍
some more fun facts about me — i love being outside, whether it’s sitting on the front porch enjoying my morning coffee, camping, fishing, exploring national parks, or hiking with my pups. when not outside, you can find me cozied up with a good book, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, or singing along to some country music. 🐾 🏕️📚🤠
