Prairie Smoke.

It’s August - wildflower season is wrapping up. It’s still quite beautiful and I was super happy to get some awesome wildflower shots last weekend. Something about this fading prairie smoke flower grabbed me - and the background in darkness (due to the overcast skies) was a happy surprise!

It’s this week!

The First Women in Ficus hosted by Studio 14 by Gabrielle! Saturday, August 6 from 3 - 6 pm. Both studio and outdoor shoots - and an amazing event for our sitter good!

Anita and I go way back, and being able to get to know her amazing family over the years has been a treasure in my life. I’ve been overjoyed at the opportunity do their porch portraits, Women in Focus photos, birthday celebration pics, and holiday photos!
