As our storm system slides east and high pressure moves in, skies will clear as lows fall into the 30s and 40s. One issue we could see is the development of patchy to widespread fog for the Wed. AM commute along/north of I-90. Take it slow in the morning!

While low and mid-elevations picked up beneficial rainfall, a blast of late spring snow has impacted higher elevations along of the divide. The camera at Logan Pass shows the fresh snow, results of the persistent moisture from our storm system.

Widespread rain continues this morning across northwest Montana, mainly along and east of U.S. Highway 93. Rain gauges have reported 4 to 6 inches of precipitation across the Mission and Swan ranges. The Flathead and Mission valleys have generally seen between 1.50 and 3.00 inches, with locally higher totals along the east side of Flathead Lake. More than 4.3 inches of rain has been observed in the Bear Hollow area.
