Kinda Cowgirl.

Not because you have to fit some definition of what a cowgirl is supposed to look like.

More like...

Do your own thing.
Work hard.
Dream a little bigger than you probably should.
Be near impossible to put in a box.
And make sure to capture a few memories while you're at it.

Maybe being kinda cowgirl has a whole lot less to do with what you wear, where you live, or whether you can swing a rope .... and a whole lot more to do with how you choose to live.

What actually goes into a Lady West campaign?

A lot behind the scenes.

It starts here.

An idea. A Feeling. A story we want to tell. Pulling together colors, textures, styling, locations, little details and overall direction that will eventually become the finished campaign.

The leather. The fringe. The horseshoe. The disco balls.
None of it is random.

Ideas and little decisions that eventually turn into you see.

Lady West isn’t just photography.

And truthfully, it hasn’t been for a while.

The camera is part of what I do but the work starts long before I ever press the shutter.

It starts with the idea.

The moodboard. The location. The styling. The details. The story we want someone to feel before they ever read a caption or click “shop.”

Because I’m not interested in creating content just to fill a feed.

I want to help Western brands build a world around what they’re doing, one people recognize, remember, and want to be part of.

Sometimes that looks like a photoshoot.

Sometimes it’s building a campaign concept from scratch.

Sometimes it’s creative direction, content, storytelling, or figuring out how all the pieces of a brand actually fit together.

That’s Lady West.

Western has never been about playing it safe.

It’s texture on texture. Turquoise against leather. A statement buckle. A little more than necessary and knowing exactly how to carry it.

The best western style has always had personality. It takes pieces with a story, mixes them in a way that feels entirely its own, and leaves a little room for attitude.

Because out here, blending in was never really the point.
