It is my birthday. 🥳

37 looks like a supportive and loving husband, the abundant garden of my dreams, a house full of plants and one-eyed cats, a business I’m incredibly lucky to call mine, a tiny little bean on the way, and a community that continues to show up for me in ways I’ll never take for granted. Cheers to another year around the sun!☀️✨

August dump 🌻🍅🫑

Despite dedicating almost half my summer garden to sunflowers this year, we still somehow managed to have HUGE harvests. I genuinely don’t remember ever having this many tomatoes or peppers in my 15 years of growing food. 😋

Not being in a constant drought all summer definitely didn’t hurt either…And the garden bonus this year: THREE pairs of goldfinches! We usually only have one pair, so watching six of them hang out around the garden has been pretty magical. 💛🌻

Our bees showed up about a month late this year and apparently the butterflies decided to do the same. I blame that freak late frost, but who knows…

I started to panic, so naturally I responded by raising some myself. 😂 Thankfully, the wild ones eventually showed up, so my backyard is officially buzzing and fluttering again! 🦋🥹

Had to share some of these too! Rori and Tanner’s engagement session was the perfect mix of classic and completely them. We started at Founders Hall in Hershey for those timeless, elegant engagement portraits. The kind of photos that will always feel just as beautiful years from now. Then we switched gears and headed to Adventure Sports for a round of mini golf! ⛳️✨

Your engagement session should feel like you!

For Rori & Tanner that meant starting with some classic engagement portraits and then heading to mini golf. A full-circle moment since a mini golf course was where they had their very first date. ⛳️

I always encourage my couples to choose locations that tell a little piece of their story, not just somewhere that looks pretty in photos. Revisit your first date, grab coffee at your favorite spot, explore somewhere you love, or do something you genuinely enjoy together. The best photos happen when you’re somewhere that makes you feel like yourselves. ✨

A baby in this economy?! Yep, we’re doing it. 🍼✨

After everything it took to get here, sharing these words feels a little surreal. Little peanut is coming early 2027! And they’ve already got two very excited and slightly terrified parents waiting for them. 🥺🥰💖 (last pic was our attempt at a cute pregnancy announcement. Reality is sometimes better… 😹)

And of course, our cats are already taking their roles very seriously as future nap buddies and gentle guardians of the nursery. Doug is obsessed with snuggling my belly and Helen is obsessed with all the baby gear… Lenny is oblivious purr-usual. 😾😺😼💕

P.S. — Clients, don’t panic. Anyone who could potentially be affected by this has already been notified. If you didn’t hear from me, you’re good! This baby had amazing timing. 🙏🏻 I’ll update everyone on maternity leave later! For now, we’re just soaking up the excitement. 🥰✨
