in honor of a snowy weekend, here’s a throwback to last winter when I had the beautiful honor to fly to Canada and photograph Elan + Ryan’s beautiful wedding day ❄️ these images are proof that the coldest days can hold the warmest memories. this day was so full of personal touches; beautiful friendships, heartwarming speeches, yummy treats, and good conversations. Elan + Ryan love their people so much, and wanted to make sure they were able to have time part way through the day to relax and drink yummy drinks at a coffee shop with their wedding party - and we built that into their timeline🤎it was one of the most beautiful moments to document for them while they laughed and shared stories together. late November was very cold in Winnipeg, so we drove to a local studio for some indoor portraits before braving the snow for some outdoor ones as well. this day will forever hold a spot in my memory - partly because it was so God honoring, (Elan and her sisters even led worship during the ceremony), but also because Elan and I lived together in Australia 13 years ago. she came to my wedding 8 years ago, and it was such an incredible honor to photograph hers 🤎 love you, sweet friend! thank you for letting me serve ya’ll and witness such a beautiful day.
