This year marks ten years since we photographed our very first newborn.

Since then we've welcomed more than 1,000 babies into the studio and had the privilege of watching many families return with second and third children.

Some now arrive holding the hand of a child we first photographed as a newborn years ago.

Those moments never stop feeling special.

And honestly, we understand.

Pregnancy can be wonderful, but it can also feel uncomfortable, emotional and overwhelming.

Many mums tell us they nearly didn't have maternity photographs because they lacked confidence in their changing body.

Yet when they see their images, something changes.

Instead of seeing the things they worried about, they see the strength, beauty and anticipation of this incredible chapter in their lives.

And years later, they're grateful they stepped in front of the camera.

Life with a newborn is busy.

You're exhausted.
You're learning as you go.
And there never seems to be enough time.

Many parents tell us they nearly didn't book a newborn session because they thought they'd remember everything.

But tiny fingers grow.
Sleepy stretches disappear.
And those first precious weeks pass far more quickly than anyone expects.

Ten years and more than 1,000 babies later, we've never had a family tell us they regret having photographs.

⛳️ From bump to baby... ⛳️

One of the things we love most about what we do is creating photographs that are personal to your family and tell your story.

When Mum and Dad visited us for their maternity session, we knew we had to incorporate Dad's passion and profession into their photographs. A golf ball on Mum's beautiful bump and Dad lining up the perfect shot made for such a fun and meaningful image.

Fast forward a few weeks, and their gorgeous little one arrived for their newborn session. It seemed only fitting that we continued the theme, with their tiny new golfer already holding a golf ball of their own! 💚

It was such a pleasure spending time with this lovely family and capturing these special moments as they prepared to welcome their baby and then celebrated their arrival.

Every family is different, and that's exactly why we love tailoring our maternity and newborn sessions to reflect the people, passions and stories that make you uniquely you. Whether it's a career, hobby, family tradition or something completely personal, we're always happy to incorporate those little details that make your photographs even more meaningful.

In infant massage, interaction is not something added to the relationship—it is the relationship itself taking shape in a specific context.

The baby does not passively receive the massage: they participate, interrupt, adjust, observe. Even silence or withdrawal are forms of communication.

The adult, in turn, is not “performing” a gesture, but entering a dialogue made of body signals, timing, and continuous adjustments.

Within this exchange, a particular quality of mutual presence can emerge. It is not linear, not always smooth, and does not follow a single pattern.

These moments can become a space where parents experience a different way of listening to their baby—less driven by the idea of “doing it right,” and more by observing what happens between them.
