Capturing the big moments in life is something I find is such an honour. In my previous role I learned that my passion is being apart of the most important times in people’s life’s, the emotions, the love, the memories being made, I just wanted to be able to freeze time for them, so what better way than to capture it and provide timeless photos everyone can enjoy.

Today, Lauren May Photography turns 4. 🤍

Four whole years of doing what I love.

Four years filled with laughter, happy tears, beautiful love stories, incredible clients, lifelong friendships, talented suppliers, endless creativity, travel and constantly learning and growing.

What started as a an harmless hobby has become a business I’m endlessly proud of. There have been early mornings, late nights, moments where I’ve questioned myself, and moments where I’ve cried happy tears because I get to call this my job.

To every couple who has trusted me with one of the biggest days of your lives, thank you. To every supplier who has welcomed me with open arms, supported me and become a friend along the way, thank you. And to everyone who has followed, shared my work, recommended me, or simply believed in me… thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This business has given me so much more than a career. It’s given me purpose, unforgettable memories, opportunities I never thought possible, and the chance to meet the most incredible people.

Here’s to everything these last four years have brought… and to all the love stories still waiting to be told.

When my pops got me my first camera I told my husband give me five years I’m going to change our life, however I never truly knew just how much it would change me and our life.

Happy 4th Birthday, Lauren May Photography. Here’s to the next chapter. 🥂✨

She looked at me with tears in her eyes, the nerves finally catching up with her.

So I held her arms, told her to take one big breath, smiled, and reminded her…

“You’ve got this.”

A few seconds later, she walked towards one of the biggest moments of her life to see her dad.

This is the part of wedding photography that isn’t about cameras.

It’s about being the calm in the chaos.
The steady hand.
The reassuring smile.
The person who quietly reminds you that you’re stronger than your nerves.

The love of girlhood is holding another woman’s hands before one of the biggest moments of her life, fixing her veil, wiping away happy tears, hyping her up, and believing in her until she believes in herself.

I’ll always treasure being trusted with moments like these. 🤍
