Sweet, sweet Maizie. 🤍🪽

A few days before she passed, I had the privilege of meeting and photographing this beautiful soul with the people who loved her most. She was so friendly, so cherished, and so special. I’ll hold this session in my heart forever. Here’s what Shay had to say about her soul cat:

“I adopted Maizie the first week I moved from Kelowna to Vancouver to start dental hygiene school as I couldn’t imagine the thought of moving to a new place all alone, and she was the best company you could ask for.

Maizie was my soul cat; she was incredibly intuitive and could sense every emotion I felt. She was the most amazing companion, with all day chatter back and forth and constant cuddles, she helped me stay focused as she laid and listened to many lectures of me teaching her all things about dental hygiene.

Even after graduation, I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving her for a single night cause I knew she’d always be waiting for me to come home. She was always there.

Maizie was the one of the most loyal and amazing cats I’ve had, and I’m forever grateful we were able to help each other through the years. You will be incredibly missed.❤️”

In loving memory of Amber. 🌈

Amber was deeply loved by her family, and in her short time here she brought endless joy and comfort to everyone she encountered. I’m grateful to have met her and captured just a small part of her story.

That big smile. The wiggly bum. Her daily dips in the ocean. She lived fully, loved wholeheartedly, and embraced every adventure that came her way.

Our time with our dogs is never long enough, but the love they leave behind lasts forever. Amber will be deeply missed. 🤍🪽
