Shooting times can sometimes be a little difficult for some families as I usually want to shoot 2 hours prior to sunset depending on the location. On the lower mainland if there are hills or mountain regions around the area we can usually get away with 3 hours before sunset.
With little kiddos bedtime I totally get that this can be an overwhelming though !
Some tips for preparing for your shoot with me are :
- bring lots of snacks and drinks to keep them fed and happy! I promise if you come prepared and feed those littles they can usually push their bedtime just this one time!
- Our sessions are filled with adventure , play and exploration so hype it up and let them know they get to play for a bit longer just this one time!
- let go of your expectations for a perfect evening. Yes they might start to fade and might have to sleep on the way home.. but just imagine the beautiful light and incredible shots you will get out of it ✨✨📸
If anything else if we need to push the shoot to an hour earlier we can always shoot somewhere not in direct sun and try to catch a little glimpse at the tail end of our session if possible 🙌
After years of shooting I can promise you staying up just a little bit later is nothing to fear, and it’s so worth it in the end for photos that will simply wow you🙌
