Thank you summer ✨
This summer was different. It was the first summer we had as a family of four❤
It was the first summer we had "summer break" in our family. It was the first summer I got to watch many first moments between my two kids. It was the summer we spent entirely together🥰🥰 Every day, every moment shared with my little family. We went from house to cabin to cabin to house. No real destination in mind, and most times the fires decided where we'd go next. The only goal was to be together. We made SO many memories, ones where we caught ourselves saying "she'll be telling this story to her kids one day"🥹🥹
It was truly the best summer, and I don't know if I'll ever recover from it!!❤😭

I'm sad to be on the last week of summer break.. but like all great things, this too must come to an end 😢🥺

Social media was severely neglected, since I only had one thing in mind- savour every moment!! However, I did a total of 12 sessions this summer 🤯 every time we came back to the city, it was for work.. I was doing 4-6 sessions a weekend while in town! Currently knee deep editing the last 4 galleries I have in my editing queue.
Emails have been blowing up, and my September weekends are fully booked. October is almost full!

**FALL IS THE MOST BUSY SEASON OF PHOTOGRAPHY**!! So if you're hoping to schedule your upcoming photo session with me, please get in touch ASAP!🍂🍁🎃

Schools out for the summer!!🥳

Sometimes I feel like I'm living 2 lives at once.. watching my first born graduate kindergarten... while my other little one is learning how to roll 😅

Life is so incredible in its own mysterious ways ❤❤

Last weekend's Father's Day mini sessions were AMAZING!!🙌🏽🙌🏽
They were one of my busiest mini sessions yet! 😲
Wow I never would have thought I would be back to work so fast after having a baby.. and this being my second mini session of the year and COUNTLESS photo sessions... only 5 months postpartum---I am feeling like superwoman🤣💪

Now typically I hammer out these sessions fast before father's day arrives.. but things are a bit different this year, time is a bit more limited.. and things are a bit slower!! So I totally appreciate everyone's patience while I finish working on your galleries!!

Father's Day Mini sessions are TOMORROW!!🥳
Wanna know what the key to a successful photo session is??
JUST HAVE FUN!! 🤩
Seriously.. if your child isn't comfortable with the camera or strangers.. then pointing to the camera and telling them to smile sure won't make them smile. Or at least it definitely won't make them smile their real smiles.😵‍💫

So here are a few tips to keep in mind when preparing for your mini session:
-Plan on arriving early to get your children comfortable with the environment they'll be getting photographed at
-when you arrive, start showing them how they can have fun at their session location (finding shells at the beach/ walking on logs)
-Start talking about the photo session on the days leading up to the session (avoid conversations like " if you smile i'll get you ice cream" leave that for the day of the session 😅
-Prepare them for their session BEFORE you arrive. (don't start doing their hair or changing their clothing after you've parked or arrived for your session)
-Choose wisely if you want to have your dog join your session (I definitely encourage you to bring the whole family.. but if you think it'll be too chaotic, leave them home!)
-and lastly.. bribery does work (if that's your style)🤣

Kids will be kids- and that's what we want! Just have fun with them, show them some love and let me capture it!🫶

Newborn, Newborn, NEWBORN SESSIONS✨✨✨
Saying it loud for everyone in the back to hear‼‼
This is the one session you do not want to miss out on if you're currently pregnant!! It is the one session you will never regret🥺🥺
If you had to choose one session, and one session at all.. this would be it!🥰💕

They will only be this little for basically a split second of your life. Don't let it pass without capturing it 🥹🥹

Newborn sessions are very time sensitive! So if you're currently pregnant (just found out, or in your second+ trimester) GET IN TOUCH ASAP!! ⏰

More often than not, I get mamas who wait until after their baby is born, and then scramble to find a photographer. I have unfortunately recently had to turn down some m**s because I simply cannot handle more sessions than what I am currently taking on.😔 **currently 4 months postpartum and have already done 12 Newborn sessions in 2026**!!!🤯😳
