This session needed a permanent place here 🫶

Photographing Franklin & Lottie’s newborn session a few months ago felt like such a full-circle moment. From capturing their wedding many years ago, to a family session in the forest last summer, and now welcoming their twins (with a proud toddler in the mix) into their home… it’s been such a privilege to witness their story unfold.

This is what it’s all about for me; growing with families, holding space for these seasons, and preserving the moments that matter most. So, so special ✨

At the end of last year, I shared that I’d be offering very limited session availability in 2026 because something exciting and creative was on the horizon… and now I finally get to tell you what it is! ✨

I’m officially stepping into real estate content creation, working alongside my husband, Ben, who is a Property Agent with Fall Real Estate.

Ben is based at Kingston Beach and services Kingborough, the Huon Valley, and the Channel, as well as many other suburbs in and around Hobart. I couldn’t be more proud of the way he serves his clients with integrity, care, and a genuine desire to help people move well into their next season. As a family man and father of four, he understands just how important it is to find not just a house, but a place to truly call home.

My role is to support his listings through content, social media, and marketing, making sure every home is positioned thoughtfully and marketed well from day one.

✨ One of the greatest gifts as a photographer is getting to walk with families through their story.

This morning I’m photographing beautiful newborn twins for a couple whose journey I’ve been part of for years; their wedding many seasons ago, a family session last summer, and now welcoming two tiny new chapters at once.

There’s something incredibly special about return clients. It’s more than photos, it’s trust. It’s being invited back into people’s lives as they grow, change, and multiply in the most beautiful ways.

From “I do” to family days to now holding space for twin babies in front of my lens. Moments like this remind me why I love what I do.

Extended family sessions are truly something special 🤍 They’re an opportunity to gather generations together; grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, cousins... all of you together in one frame, preserving your family’s story in a way that only grows more meaningful with time.

We begin with a timeless posed group photo (perfect for Nan's wall 😉), then gently break off into smaller groups; individual family photos, grandparents with their grandchildren, siblings together, moments you’ll cherish forever.

You won’t remember every feed or every hour, but you’ll remember the feeling.

The weight of them on your chest. The warmth. The quiet moments when the world felt very small and very full.

These photographs aren’t about perfection. They’re about presence.

They’re how you remember the way it felt ✨

Worried your kids won’t sit still for photos? Don’t be! that’s where the magic happens ✨

There’s always a moment in every session when kids are “done.” They stop listening, stop smiling, and start being fully themselves. And honestly… that’s my favourite part.

So many parents apologise or feel embarrassed when their children won’t cooperate. I’ll always remind you — this is completely normal. Kids aren’t meant to sit still and smile on cue. They’re meant to move, play, laugh, test boundaries, and feel safe enough to be silly.

As a mum of four (ages 0–9), I’ve truly seen it all; and I get it. I don’t expect perfect behaviour. I expect real kids.

We lean into the chaos, turn it into fun, and that’s how the genuine smiles and eye contact happen! In between the jumping, tickle fights, and laughter.

My hope is we walk away with full cups, talking about the chaos, feeling the love and remembering that parents are meant to have fun too ✨📸

I have a deep love for controlled chaos during family sessions ✨

Tossing in the air, jumping on the bed, running full speed into mum and dad’s arms, tickle fights, bear hunts, silly jokes and songs, water fights, and spontaneous dance parties.

There’s always a moment in a session when kids are “done”, tired, stubborn, or totally uninterested. And honestly? That’s my favourite part.

Because that’s when the real magic happens. I lean into the fun, the silliness, the chaos… and win them back. Those in-between moments are where the genuine smiles, eye contact, and connection live.

So often parents feel embarrassed when their children won’t sit still or smile on cue. I’ll always gently remind you: this is normal. Children aren’t meant to sit quietly and smile for an hour, they’re meant to play. And that’s exactly how we get the results.

As a mum of four, with kids aged 0–9, I’ve truly seen it all; and best of all, I get it. I don’t expect your children to be on their best behaviour. I do expect them to test boundaries, push limits, and be fully themselves.

My hope is that we all walk away from the session with our cups full; laughing about the chaos, holding onto the love, and remembering that parents are meant to have fun too ✨
