We met at mothers’ group when our babies were just two months old.

They were born only two days apart, and it’s been so lovely getting to know this little family over the last couple of years and to photograph them for the second time as they celebrate their little boy turning two.

There’s something really special about watching the babies from your mothers’ group grow up.

One minute you’re sitting in a circle with tiny newborns, wondering if you’ll ever sleep again, and the next you’re chasing toddlers around for family photos.

Becoming a mum feels a bit like joining one of the best clubs going around. You meet people you probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise, and suddenly you’re all navigating the same season of life together.

I’m so grateful that this job lets me capture little milestones like these along the way. 🤍

Quitting my day job late last year to go all in on this business was one of the biggest leaps I’ve ever taken.

I’ve loved spending more time with my daughter, but what I didn’t expect was how much it would change me creatively.

It’s given me the time and space to seek out new locations, thoughtfully curate pieces for my client wardrobe, chase ideas that spark something in me, and create images I’ve dreamed of making for a long time.

This session is a little reminder of that.

But these images don’t exist without the women who trust me enough to bring those ideas to life. Thank you for saying yes, for embracing the unexpected, and for allowing me to create something beautiful alongside you.

To every family and every woman who chooses to support this little business, thank you. Your trust gives me the opportunity to keep learning, growing and creating work that I genuinely love.

I never take for granted that I get to provide for my family while doing something that fills my cup creatively. I feel incredibly lucky, and I’m so excited for everything that’s still to come.

Did you know that spring is one of the busiest seasons for babies, which means it's also one of the busiest seasons for maternity and newborn photography.

If you're expecting a little one in September or October, now is the perfect time to reach out and start planning your sessions.

Most of my clients book their maternity and newborn photography around the halfway point of their pregnancy, allowing us to secure dates well in advance and make sure everything is organised before those final busy weeks arrive.

I usually photograph maternity sessions between 32–36 weeks (ideally closer to 32–33 weeks during the cooler months to allow for reschedules), and newborn sessions are pencilled in based on your due date and adjusted once baby arrives.

If a spring baby is on the way, I'd love to help you document this season of life in a relaxed and stress-free way.

If choosing outfits for family photos overwhelms you… this is the formula I use with my clients every single time.

Warm neutrals (think cream, ivory, tan, beige)
A cohesive colour palette.
Texture like knits, linen, corduroy, ribbed fabrics.
And a little something with interest like gingham, corduroy, florals or subtle stripes.

The goal isn’t to look perfectly matched.

It’s to create outfits that feel connected, timeless and comfortable enough for your family to move, cuddle, play and just be yourselves.

And one little photographer tip?
Choose ivory, cream or beige over stark white wherever possible. Softer whites photograph much warmer and more flattering, especially for outdoors sessions.

Gosh I'm a sucker for a lil' Black and White moment 🖤

This session had been in the calendar for a while, but after spotting the most beautiful forecast, we made the call to move the date forward last minute… and I’m so glad we did.

Mum somehow pulled everyone’s outfits together and organised haircuts in record time, then we met at the beach and spent the evening soaking up the soft light, salty air, and all the little moments in between.

The kids played together, searching for sea creatures in the rocks, splashing in the shallows, collecting treasures, and chasing dad along the sand.

Relaxed, playful, and a little wild, these are always my favourite kinds of sessions 🤍
