If you’ve been watching my stories lately, you’ll know I’ve been talking about wanting to create more fantasy and creative portraits… So I went digging through some of my old work and found these.

These were some of the first creative portraits I ever created, a shoot for Nova☆Nirvana burlesque dancer featuring her costume for an upcoming performance.

And honestly, looking back at them reminded me just how much I love creating something a little more ✨ otherworldly ✨ than a traditional portrait.

There’s something so fun about taking an idea, a costume, a character or even just a vague little “what if…” and turning it into an entire world.

I think I’d really like to explore more of that side of photography again.

Fairies. Forest creatures. Queens. Princesses. Dark and gothic characters. Storybook worlds. Performers. Strange little creatures dreamed up at 2am. 😂

Basically, if it feels like it belongs in a fantasy novel, I’m probably interested.

So… consider this me putting it out into the universe. 🌙✨

And keep an eye on my stories, I’ll be sharing some concept ideas and putting out model calls for these creative projects soon. 👀✨”
