It may have been 100 degrees and I mayyy have lost my keys for three hours as my phone battery got dangerously low and a thunderstorm blew in drenching from head to toe… BUT you can’t deny these images were worth it all!! 😄👏🏻 For Heidi’s senior session, we started at Airlie Gardens, moved to the marsh and finished on the beach and every location was just as perfect for her as the last!! 🌺🌊

Part 3 of the Wilmington Travel Guide is all about what to do while you're here! One of my favorite things about the coastal Carolina area is that it’s not only beautiful, it’s rich with history. So in addition to some of our favorite activities, I had to include some of our favorite historic sites in the area, too, including colonial gardens, a palace from the revolutionary era, mansion from the Civil War and coming up next, islands & lighthouses!!

As thoroughly as I enjoyed the lush greens, mild temperatures and late midwestern sunsets Ohio offered up as a hearty welcome, it was Timothy and Bethany that took the spotlight this last weekend…

You don’t have to be with this bridal couple for long to sense the purposefulness which which they’ve approached their relationship with each other. In fact, not only they themselves, but their friends and family, too. The moment I walked in on a crowd of groomsmen sharing an impromptu prayer time with Timothy as he prepared to meet Bethany at the end of the aisle, the intentionality and love their network of friends and family have invested into their future together as a couple was evident...
