I've been recieving several family session inquiries lately, so I thought I would let you all know my booking process in case you have been thinking about scheduling your family or senior session!

Booking is all done online. Simply reach out on any of my socials, give me a call at 605-630-8121 or shoot me an email to [email protected]. Once we have ironed out all the details for your session, I will email you a project proposal composed of a contract and invoice. Once the contract is signed and payment is recieved, your session is booked!

After booking we will move forward with planning and conceptualizing the fine details of your session. I will email you a questionnaire to aid in this process.

Currently I have more availability during the week (and on Sundays) for June and July and plenty of availability in August. Pst- the first two weeks of August are perfect if you are hoping for sunflower photos!! 🌻📸

Throwback to Jacob & McKenzie Ulrich’s engagement session on their family ranch near Faith, SD. We explored every corner— and took photos with their horse, an old truck, a huge tree, open pastures, and some goofy shots of McKenzie serving Jacob some beer while getting a piggy back ride. 🍻 Early summer sessions like this always get my heart racing! The good weather and great company is always a stellar combo.

These photos are four years old, and now Jacob & McKenzie are happily married with a little baby boy. It’s so exciting to see their family grow! 🌱💗

Throwback to these shots of new bulls from 2021! These guys were so tame, they would walk up to the fence in front of my house and wait for me to feed them 'cake.' I took these shots testing out my new lens, which now is one of my favorites to reach for! 📸

I just love how green the grass is this time of year and looking at these throwbacks makes me want to grab a camera and photograph our cow calf pairs (and our new bulls once they are delivered from Sunrise Angus Ranch). The little ones are so cute and I barely have any photos of them in my catalogue! Would you like to see them?

Abby & Wes got married in 2024, but instead of an engagement session, we waited a year and did a family session in the Badlands—with their pups, of course! I love making sessions work for each couple, and the Badlands is always a dream location. 🌄🐾

I'm obviously obsessed with the badlands. Let me know if you would like to get together in the badlands this summer!

Ashlynne & Ryan’s engagement session in Badlands National Park was full of adventure and a little Star Wars fun! Since we shot on May 4th, we had to include a lightsaber in a few photos—and even hid it as an Easter egg. See if you can spot it!

There’s nothing like photographing a couple in love against the stunning backdrops of Custer State Park. Kylee & Sheldon’s session at Sylvan Lake and the Hood Tunnel (Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway) was one for the books! 📚(Kylee and I chatted about our love for novels nearly the whole time 😂)

Loved seeing the Ness family enjoy their session in Mitchell, SD! Destiny captured sweet moments at the park and ended the day with everyone blowing bubbles in the backyard. I'm such a fan of taking photos in May- the weather is turning nice and the grass is a stunning green color. The kids (and adults) are ready to play! ☀🌱
