It’s hard to believe, but this past Saturday I celebrated twelve years of Kimberly Lauren Photography. TWELVE YEARS!! I don’t know why, but that number just seems wild to me. I remember how scared I was to take on my first few sessions and to this day I still get a flutter in my belly. I think as a photographer you become such a people pleaser, you want to make sure each and every clients needs are met. I want to do every client justice by capturing their love and family as authentic as possible. Over time I learned that I just had to give my clients the space to just feel comfortable and lead if they needed me too and it really changed everything for my business. I really pour everything I have into each session. I love to try new things with light and find new locations and try fun prompts, but I could not do all of that without the amazing couples and families that trust me and also give me that space to not feel rushed or feel weird about trying something new. With that said, thank you! Thank you for trusting me to document your life, your love, your milestones and your families milestones. I appreciate you so much! Each inquiry, each call or text of telling me the good news that you are graduating, or getting married and or expecting your first baby. I’m so grateful each time I pick up my camera. Thank you for all the love and support over the years!
