I thought this would just be her senior session.
It wasn’t.
Over the past few years, she’s had to start over more than once. New schools. New people. New environments.
And if you’re a mom, you know… you don’t always see how much it’s shaping them until one day, you do.
This was that moment for me.
Not just seeing my daughter, but seeing the young woman she’s becoming. The strength. The quiet confidence.
And here’s the part most seniors don’t realize…
She didn’t come into this session knowing how to pose or what to do. Almost none of them do.
That’s not their job. It’s mine.
If you’re in this season, whether you’re a senior or a mom watching it all go by too fast, I shared the full story behind these images on the blog.
It’s one of the most personal things I’ve written.
Woodinville high school senior session with natural light portraits in golden fields, capturing strength, growth, and this season of life.
