It was quite the adventure to make this perfect moment happen. There were multiple scouting trips, flashlights and walks in the dark… there was even a fake blog, so heading to a random spot in the middle of the woods didn’t seem quite as odd. It was the perfect sunrise in complete isolation. Minus that one random person who popped out the forest with a camera. 🙋‍♀️😘

Lots of thoughts about spring time but I honestly love the rain so much. A throwback to the only time we have gotten COMPLETELY rained out. With a surprise engagement party following, these two powered through the rain and lived their own personal notebook moment. We rescheduled the portrait part for another day and I truly love how every second played out. Portraits coming on another day!
