postcards from fes 🎨
fes felt like a quieter, more peaceful version of marrakech, partly because its narrower streets are car free. the riads have a different aesthetic too, with detailed black and white tilework and carved cedar doors.
and of course, the iconic chouara tannery was one of the coolest places I saw in all of morocco. the smell wasn't that bad in my experience!
