Their San Francisco City Hall wedding ceremony captured thoughtfully on film 🎞️ They chose to wed in the Mayor’s Balcony under arching ceilings and surrounded by the warmth of their family and friends. The entire day I was reminded of this building’s ability to provide intimate spaces for couples to celebrate their love alongside and their loved ones.

Working as a wedding photographer in San Francisco means I am just a short drive away from some of the most beautiful places on Earth. When I book clients for engagement shoots, I always tell them how lucky they are to have so many incredible location options at their disposal. This couple opted to shoot their engagement photos in the redwood groves of Muir Woods and on the Point Reyes cliff tops. Both locations offer stunning views of California’s natural beauty and a lovely romantic backdrop for an engagement shoot.

A morning spent getting ready at the historic Fairmont Hotel in the heart of downtown San Francisco, then married in a private buyout wedding ceremony at San Francisco City Hall. It was the quintessential San Francisco wedding experience.

This city often feels to me like it was built for romance. Getting married at SF City Hall isn’t just for locals. No matter the state or country, anyone can travel to wed here—and they do!

Reminiscing on this SF City Hall wedding ceremony where the bride and groom decided to bring their dog as a guest of honor 🐕 wearing a flower necklace that matched the bride’s bouquet perfectly no less!

Jessica & Andy married in the 4th Floor Gallery in an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family. Their ceremony was accompanied by sweet music from a local harpist and bathed in soft light from those iconic SF City Hall arched windows.

Baker Beach, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the most perfect afternoon with Courtney and Kyle. 🤍

I had SO much fun with these two! The whole session felt like hanging out with friends, just laughing, being silly, and letting things happen naturally. We got the prettiest mix of sunshine and clouds, and even got to watch the sunset together. Could not have asked for a better afternoon!

Ever wondered what it might feel like to get married at the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco? I can’t imagine a more peaceful and romantic spot. The Japanese Tea Garden lies in Golden Gate Park: a vast green space in heart of San Francisco. It’s a tranquil outdoor setting carefully complemented by historic pagodas, arched bridges, and koi ponds.
