The power of words and how they effect our choices.

Some photographs deserve more than a frame. They deserve a cover.

I wanted to take this portrait beyond the traditional photograph and give it a magazine-style editorial look.

The elegance, the confidence, the lighting, and that beautiful black gown all came together to tell a story.

From portrait to cover-worthy.

The best moments aren’t always posed. 📸✨

Sometimes, it’s the smile, the laughter, or that one moment when you’re simply being yourself.

At Jon Lamar Photography, it’s about capturing more than a picture. It’s about capturing your personality, your confidence, and the moments that make you uniquely you.

Let’s capture your next moment.

❤️ A Mother's Love. A Community's Promise. ❤️
Community begins with connection: a smile, a conversation, simply showing up.

I was honored to capture moments like this at Southeast Raleigh Promise's Sunday Supper. Thank you for letting me tell your story.

Allow me to show you what GROWN. SEXY. CONFIDENT. and UNAPOLOGETICALLY HER looks like!

The elegance. The attitude. The presence. Every detail speaks for itself.

It’s about knowing who you are, embracing your beauty, and walking in it like the QUEEN you are. 💎🥂

Confidence looks good in red. ❤️📸

There’s something about a portrait session where personality takes over and you stop posing for the camera—you simply enjoy the moment.

A few favorites from this session. Different looks, beautiful location, and plenty of personality.
