Lately, we’ve been holding a whole lot of gratitude. For the families who trust us with their memories, the couples who invite us into their love stories, and the quiet, in-between moments that somehow end up meaning the most. Proof that the best memories are the ones made when we let go of perfection, stop worrying about the little things, and simply choose to be fully present.

The sweetest moments always seem to happen when we slow down, when we pause, breathe, and allow ourselves to be right here. It’s the laughter that bubbles up without trying, the tiny hands reaching for ours, the way our hearts feel lighter just by sharing space with the people who mean everything. These are the moments that catch us off guard, the unplanned, unscripted ones that somehow become the memories we hold onto the longest.

Because it’s never about the perfect day or the perfect setting, it’s about showing up with open hearts and letting yourself be silly, present, and unguarded. It’s about connection that feels effortless, joy that spreads like sunshine, and love that speaks loudly even in the quietest seconds. Hey friends, it’s been a while!

2025 has definitely come out swinging, between health challenges for our kids and us, the loss of a loved one, and everything else this year has thrown our way, some days it’s laugh or cry… and most days it’s a little of both.😂

If it’s felt quiet here on Instagram, it’s because we’ve been focusing on what matters most: photographing, editing, sending galleries, and keeping up with messages, emails, and inquiries for 2025 and 2026. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we juggle it all.

We’ve got so many updates and exciting things happening! Black Friday early access just went out to our email list, so check your inbox. Public access goes live next Friday. All of our Christmas sessions for the year are now full, and we’ll be sending out galleries very soon as well as any remaining wedding galleries and sessions from the 2025 season.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are beyond excited for what’s to come! We’re working on a small merch line, and we can’t wait to share it with you. If you’d like to snag one, let us know! Our first batch will be small, so it’s first come, first served!

We’re also making a few changes for 2026 to better support our clients, our team, and our family. We’ll be limiting our session and wedding capacity and allowing our team to take a bigger role for weddings, so we can be more present for our kids and recover from the whirlwind of 2025. This doesn’t mean you can’t book with me specifically; it just means more weddings will be handled by our team, and my session availability will be more limited. We’ll also be making slight adjustments to our packages to better fit the needs of our clients, will be getting a dedicated business number to better keep track of communications outside of email, and prioritizing inquiries through our website so nothing gets lost in the Instagram shuffle.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your patience, love, and support through this whirlwind of a year. We couldn’t do any of this without you, and we’re so excited to make more memories together in 2026.💛

The fall season is just around the corner at Mt. Rainier, and we can already feel the crisp air and see the first hints of color creeping in. The mountain is about to transform into a stunning display of autumn hues, and it's going to be absolutely beautiful.

Now is the perfect time to book your Mt. Rainier session and capture those breathtaking moments against the vibrant backdrop of fall. But don’t wait too long! We’ll only have access to the trails before the snow starts to roll in, and once winter takes over, the trails will be only accessible for expirence hikers for the season.

✨BIG UPDATE!✨

Bringing one of my favorite branding photos back to our timeline because I’m so excited to share that I’ll officially be resuming full-time work starting tomorrow!🎉

As most of you know, I had surgery a couple weeks ago and have been in rest and recover mode. While I’m not quite 100% yet, my healing has made huge progress and I can finally get back to most of my normal routine. A few things (like bending fully, stretching, and long desk sessions) are still tricky, so I’ll have a couple small limitations.

This week I’ll be reaching out to everyone who needed to reschedule to set up new dates. Editing + gallery deliveries will also be back in motion (in little spurts at first), and I’ll be working hard to get everything caught up.

Thank you all SO much for your patience, love, and support, it means the world. I'm so beyond excited to be getting back behind the camera, full time, with our team where I'm happiest.🫶🏻
