This sweet baby girl arrived at the studio and transformed into something straight out of a storybook. Dressed in dusty pink with delicate shimmering wings, she slept peacefully in the hollow of an old tree, surrounded by moss, woodland magic, and wonder.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from parents is:

This beautiful outdoor newborn image was actually created INSIDE my studio. 💜

While it looks like this sweet baby is peacefully sleeping in an apple tree wreath outdoors, babies are never exposed to the elements for these images. Instead, they stay warm, comfortable, and safely posed in a controlled studio environment while I create the outdoor-inspired artwork parents love.

What many people don't realize is that images like this begin with safety first and artistry second. These sweet twin boys were safely posed in their little bear outfits with a supporting hand on them at all times—even during the image-making process. Their comfort and safety are always my highest priority.

One little bear even gave us the sweetest sleepy smile while his brother snoozed peacefully beside him 🤎

The final image may look like they are nestled deep within a magical forest surrounded by moss, ferns, mushrooms, and woodland wonder, but every detail is carefully created with your baby's safety in mind.

Seeing the transformation from behind-the-scenes to finished artwork is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Watching a simple setup become a storybook memory never gets old.
