We made it to Washington! 🌲Currently unpacking our house and it’s a bit exhausting. I’ve been a little MIA due to all the craziness of this move! We have one more family trip to make in Oregon for the holiday and then it’s finally time to settle down new roots.

In the meantime, here’s a bit of beautiful New Mexico - my home state!

I’ve always advertised that I’m a “family photographer” because that’s what I thought I was meant to be. Truth is, I’ve really loved all my latest sessions so I removed the label for now. As I re-start this journey, I’m also learning a lot about where I want to take it. The thing about art is you don’t pick which direction you’ll go. It’s an entire journey to find out where you’re meant to be. I used to think I needed all the answers right away to be a successful photographer. I thought I needed to edit and shoot a certain way to get booked. Shifting my mindset as a photographer has been the best thing for me. It’s been a breath of fresh air to let go and just be. 💕

It was raining and cloudy all day yesterday! I actually sent a text asking if everyone still wanted to continue with the session. On the drive over I noticed some small breaks in the clouds opening up and......LOOK AT THIS. 🥰 What a perfect sky.

I've been a bit MIA for a LONG time! Meet the new love of our lives, little miss!

I've actually been posting more frequently to my instagram and realized I've been neglecting FB. Aside from having a baby, I have lots of news. :)

1. We are moving to Washington state in a few weeks.
2. I have a new website. *go check it out on my home page*
3. I will be taking on a new niche that I'm VERY excited about! In-home newborn sessions. 🥰

I have a couple sessions left in Hawaii but at this time I'm not accepting any bookings for either location. I will update as we get settled in WA!
