These have been a BIG hit with my Seniors and their families! I'm back home placing orders for the Seniors we had the privilege of capturing in the OBX this summer.

One of the true privileges of what I get to do is being invited into my clients' lives, even if it's just for a short time.
To hear their stories, celebrate their triumphs, witness the love and connections that make their families so special, and have the privilege of preserving some of their most precious moments through my lens is truly the honor of a lifetime.

Then we changed it up a little! Because a Senior Session should feel like you!!
A little bit of tradition.
A little bit of personality.
And a whole lot of Hailey!

We brought out the cap and gown, broke out those incredible senior jeans, and finished with a couple more favorites from the beach!
Three looks, Three completely different sides of her.
And every single one says Hailey!!!

Barefoot the waves crashing around her and her blue dress was basically made for this beach!!!

Hailey's Senior Session in Rodanthe!

This beautiful summer night and Hailey on that beach was one for the books!

This house sits along a stretch of Rodanthe where the ocean has been steadily taking the land back. Just beyond it stands the Black Pearl, which has relentlessly stood in the surf, weathering waves after wave as the shoreline disappears around it.

So much of this landscape has already changed. Houses that once stood there are gone. What feels permanent isn't always permanent at all.

And then there was Hailey!

Walking down that beach toward a horizon that seems to go on forever. So fitting to capture her Senior Session here.

Because that is what growing up is, too.

You spend years building a home, a childhood, a place that feels permanent. And then, almost without realizing it, the time comes to step away from it.

The nest gets smaller, the world gets bigger.

And suddenly your baby is standing at the edge of everything that's next.
Hailey is getting ready to leave her own little nest and begin a life that belongs entirely to her.

Just like this house, some things aren't meant to stay exactly as they are forever.

They change.
They make room for what comes next.
And that's what makes moments like these so beautiful.

Because for one evening in Rodanthe, I got to photograph a girl standing between two worlds, the childhood behind her and the whole wide ocean of possibility in front of her.
