Serenity. A shot of the Bodie Island Lighthouse I took back years ago that endures to be one of my favorite moments I've ever captured on film. We happened to be coming back from a day down in Hatteras, tired and hangry kids in the back seat and we stopped by Bodie to see if the reflection pool was full after the rains the night before. The storm had cleared, the winds were shockingly calm, and the clouds were breaking.
