Killer light at Bodie Island just before sunset. It's amazing to be in such a picturesque location and not another person out there to enjoy this. Almost as if it never happened if I didn't capture it.

Manteo on Fire. Now on display at The FIND Lab gallery! A foggy morning in Manteo set ablaze at sunset, this intense scene unfolding as the geese make their way across the sound. I love mornings like this, so invigorating just by soaking up the energy of sunrise.

Serenity. A shot of the Bodie Island Lighthouse I took back years ago that endures to be one of my favorite moments I've ever captured on film. We happened to be coming back from a day down in Hatteras, tired and hangry kids in the back seat and we stopped by Bodie to see if the reflection pool was full after the rains the night before. The storm had cleared, the winds were shockingly calm, and the clouds were breaking.
