Sometimes I get so caught up in making portraits and taking photos that I forget to share the beautiful moments I have the pleasure to capture. Even when life is insane I wouldn’t be anywhere without the love of the supportive women around me. and have been the angels on my shoulder this last year. You both have really been the role models of what I want to be when I grow up. I’m so happy to see what it will be like to lean into power, grace and still able to party harder than I can now. You give me a lot to look forward to 💋🤗

Full circle moment alert! 🎉
Can you believe I’ve been shooting for 14 years?! Wild. One of the very first runway shows I ever photographed back in 2015 was —and I was obsessed. The wild prints, the loud colors, the campy chaos—it was everything this Midwest gal (raised on traditional vibes) secretly dreamed of. Betsey’s world was loud, glittery, fearless, and FUN. I was hooked.

Fast forward to last night… and guess who I got to shoot again? Yup, the one and only 💕 And let me tell you, it wouldn’t be a Betsey party without her iconic splits (yes, she still does them and yes, I’m still in awe—my hamstrings could never). Honestly, when I grow up, I just wanna be half as cool as her.

In the middle of this post, I dropped a few throwbacks from my first time shooting her—because who doesn’t love a little then vs now nostalgia?
