The thing I still love most about photographing people is the collaboration that happens along the way.

A good image rarely comes from simply showing up with a camera. It comes from trust, curiosity, shared energy, unexpected moments, and allowing space for things to unfold naturally. Sometimes that means an occasional llama.

A few moments from a campaign for Illumia.

I’m honestly humbled by the support surrounding my work. Thanks to all of you, I’ve advanced into the Top 20 of The People’s Artist competition.

Creating has never simply been what I do—it’s who I am. To have these images resonate with others in this way means more than I can fully express.

What makes this even more meaningful is that the competition supports The Art of Elysium, an organization using art as a catalyst for healing, connection, and emotional support for those facing difficult challenges. Their work feels especially important right now.

Thank you again for the encouragement, messages, votes, and support. I’m deeply grateful.

If you’d still like to vote and help keep the work moving forward, I’d truly appreciate it.

I was recently selected to be part of The People’s Artist competition presented by Johnny Depp.
It’s a nationwide initiative supporting The Art of Elysium—an organization that brings art into communities as a form of connection and healing.
I don’t usually ask for this kind of support, but if the work has ever resonated with you, a vote would mean a lot.
Link is in bio.
Grateful for all of you who continue to follow along and support the journey.

Excited to share a glimpse of a project that’s been in the works.

We traveled throughout Florida creating a photographic library of indigenous trees for this hotel, and it’s incredible to see it all coming together. Song of Absolution prints will be featured in every room, bringing a sense of place and connection to the landscape into the guest experience.

Proud of this collaboration and grateful to everyone involved.

Travel is never a solo experience.

On Socotra Island in Yemen, everything we saw was made possible by the people who live there—guiding us, feeding us, and sharing their world.

What started as reliance became friendship.

It’s easy to remember the landscape.
But it’s the people who make a place unforgettable.

When I speak about disappearing landscapes, this is what I mean.

The tree still stands but a four-lane road now runs beside it. Housing fills what was once open space.

The landscape, as it was, is gone.

What remains is the record.

This is why I make these images. An archive of what once existed.

Beauty is endless on the Monterey Peninsula.

Carmel and Pebble Beach are places where landscape and living are inseparable, where what surrounds you shapes how you feel.

That’s what I’m chasing. Work that holds that presence. Something that lives in a space and deepens over time.

Travel strips things down to what’s real.

This was in the Cedar Forest of the Atlas Mountains—meeting a sheep herder and his dog. We didn’t share a language, but we didn’t need one.

A nod was enough.

That’s what travel does. It breaks down the stories we’ve been told; the fear, the distance, the idea that we’re different.

We’re not.

Sometimes these moments pass. Sometimes they stay with you for life.

But each one reminds you—
we’re far more alike than we’ve been led to believe.

Tree of Life, CanyonLands National Park, UT

After hours of driving through dust and red rock,
my eyes had adjusted to a world without green.

Then I dropped down a switchback
and found the Green River.

And this cottonwood
alive in a way that almost didn’t make sense.

It felt like an oasis.

After so much emptiness, it felt like finding breath again.

I think of it as a tree of life,
moving like it’s dancing beside the water that sustains it.
